Subject: Modifying the Fax Broadcast Initialization String


Situation:
==========
After modifying the Fax Broadcast initialization string to use the Delrina
Fax Broadcast Service, WinFax reverts the string back to the default
fax/modem setting.

Solution:
=========
Once you have modified the initialization string to use the Fax Broadcast
service, do not access the Fax/Modem Setup dialog until you need to make a
change to the setting. If you inadvertently select Fax/Modem Setup, click
Cancel to exit without changing the initialization string. Selecting Cancel
in the Fax/Modem Setup dialog ensures that the Fax Broadcast initialization
string does not revert back to the default fax/modem setting.

If OK is selected in the Fax/Modem Setup, the Fax Broadcast initialization
string will revert back to the default fax/modem setting.

To restore the modified Fax Broadcast initialization string, select Services,
Fax Broadcast Setup, from the WinFax menu. If the initialization string has
changed, modify the string by re-entering the initialization information.
