MARKING AND PRINTING FILES
ÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍ
Sometimes when you're cruising a hypertext network, you may find
yourself wanting to go on an extended browse but would like to mark the
spot at which your trip began. This program will remember your journey
through the past eight FILES and, by pressing the LEFT ARROW KEY
repeatedly, you can step backwards through your trip. However, for
longer trips we suggest the following method, called marking. It's
simple.
Before you leave the file you want to eventually return to, just hit the
F5 KEY. Nothing will happen on screen but you will have placed an
electronic bookmark in the system. Now, cruise to your heart's content.
After you get bored or get the information you need hit the ESC KEY to
get back to the TOPIC MODE then hit the M key (M for Mark). You'll see
the name of the file you marked appear on screen. There may be other
marked files in the list too if you've marked others. Use the UP and
DOWN ARROW keys to point to the file you want to return to and hit the
RETURN or ENTER KEY. You'll be taken to the FILE and SCREEN you marked.
Neat.
Another thing about mark. Not only can you return to a marked file, you
can also print it out. Just hit P for Print and your printer (if it's
hooked up) will punch out the marked file.
GETTING ADDITIONAL ONLINE HELP

an alphabetic list of files in the network. VERSION gives you version

Very nice! Thank you for this wonderful archive. I wonder why I found it only now. Long live the BBS file archives!
This is so awesome! 😀 I’d be cool if you could download an entire archive of this at once, though.
But one thing that puzzles me is the “mtswslnkmcjklsdlsbdmMICROSOFT” string. There is an article about it here. It is definitely worth a read: http://www.os2museum.com/wp/mtswslnk/
