You can blast through 1,000,000 records and select out 0 8 consecutive records and display them to the screen in less than 0 10 seconds! Option 1 will blast through your indexes 0 and select out any record from the Master File by 1st, 2nd or 3rd ID. 0 Enter a '1'. 0 0 0 To indicate which of the three you wish to search for, enter a: 0 0 1 for Vendor and Model Number 0 2 for Vehicle ID Number (V.I.N.), or 0 3 for License Number 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 @11 11 This screen lets you select which of the 3 ID's to search. 0 Let's say we want to do search by License Number. 0 Enter a '3' 0 0 @30 30 1 0 18 0 40 0 1 0 3 0 @2 2 0 ----Exact Capitalization Not Required---- 0 0 Enter the Service Call ID number you wish to search for. 0 -If you enter one value, then the system will show you all of the 0 records in the file with the first letter that satisfies 0 your search. For example, if you enter "H" then all of items 0 that begin with H will appear. If you enter two letters, such as RI, 0 then all of those items that have the same first two characters in your 0 selected field will appear. 0 0 0 This selection will continue to prompt you for a value until you 0 enter 'Return' by itself (preceded by no characters). 0 0 Enter your letter, letters, or word followed by RETURN: 0 @11 11 At the prior screen you selected the option to search by 0 License Number. They will search through all comments and IDs for each 0 record at the same time. Secondly, they will do partial word or 0 partial number searches. This is handy for recalling conversations 0 entered as comments, where you can only remember keywords, 0 such as 'ARCHITECT' or 'CONTRACT'. 0 You can experiment with this later.
