PC Personal Resume Kit
-----------------------------
We would like to thank you for inquiring about the PC
Personal Resume Kit!
As you solicit employment, one of the hurdles you must
overcome is obtaining an interview with a prospective employer.
A necessary tool to facilitate this job hunt is your personal
resume. Originality is the key to a good resume, and NYEWARE
can enable you to make yourself unique!
As the number of personal computers used by businesses
increases, the chance of your prospective employer having access
to such a computer is improved. Through sending a diskette
containing a program that will allow the prospective employer to
view your resume, complete with a digitized image of yourself,
you will be individualizing your qualifications with
originality. The PC Personal Resume Kit allows you to build
this type of "electronic" resume. Your PC Personal Resume will
personify you in an original manner with details to enhance your
personal assets.
The PC Personal Resume Kit contains the IBM PC
compatible programs: PC Personal Resume, PC Personal Resume
Manager, and a User's Manual containing detailed instructions.
PC Personal Resume
--------------------
PC Personal Resume is the IBM PC compatible program you will
send to the prospective employer allowing them to view the
contents of your resume complete with a digitized image of
yourself. A diskette containing your PC Personal Resume can
be sent with, or instead of your paper resume. The photograph
supplied by you will be used by Nyeware to customize your
personal copy of the PC Personal Resume program. This program
requires a minimum of an EGA graphics monitor.
PC Personal Resume Manager
----------------------------
PC Personal Resume Manager is the IBM PC compatible program
that allows you to manage all of your PC Personal Resumes.
The main screen of the PC Personal Resume Manager displays all
existing resumes, in alphabetical order, allowing you to
modify / delete existing resumes, create new resumes or build a
diskette containing the customized PC personal Resume you will
be sending to your prospective employer.
Please keep in mind that all of the extra effort you do to
get your new job is going to benefit you for a long time to
come.
DEFINITION OF SHAREWARE
-------------------------
Shareware distribution gives users a chance to try software
before buying it. If you try a Shareware program and continue
using it, you are expected to register. Individual programs
differ on details -- some request registration while others
require it, some specify a maximum trial period. With
registration, you get anything from the simple right to
continue using the software to an updated program with
printed manual.
Copyright laws apply to both Shareware and commercial
software, and the copyright holder retains all rights, with a
few specific exceptions as stated below. Shareware authors
are accomplished programmers, just like commercial authors,
and the programs are of comparable quality. (In both cases,
there are good programs and bad ones!) The main difference is
in the method of distribution. The author specifically grants
the right to copy and distribute the software, either to all
and sundry or to a specific group. For example, some authors
require written permission before a commercial disk vendor
may copy their Shareware.
Shareware is a distribution method, not a type of software.
You should find software that suits your needs and
pocketbook, whether it's commercial or Shareware. The
Shareware system makes fitting your needs easier, because you
can try before you buy. And because the overhead is low,
prices are low also. Shareware has the ultimate money-back
guarantee -- if you don't use the product, you don't pay for
it.

Chapter 1
1.0 INTRODUCTION
The PC Personal Resume Kit (TM) is a software package that
allows you to create and manage your IBM PC compatible ex-
ecutable resumes. As your PC Personal Resume is executed,

sume can be viewed by the person of which you are seeking
an interview. This is a tool that can be used instead of
or with your paper resume!
This package allows you to update, create and delete many
separate resumes. With a few simple selections, this
package will build a diskette containing all necessary
files needed for the prospective employer to execute your
PC Personal Resume. If your computer has a mouse, you may
use it to interface with these programs.
This package contains two executable programs:
1) RESUME - This is the PC Personal Resume program you
will send to the prospective employer as to allow
them to view the contents of your resume along with
a digitized image of yourself.
2) MANAGER - This is the PC Personal Resume Manager
program that allows you to manage all of your re-
sumes and build diskettes containing all files nec-
essary for your prospective employer to execute

make a working copy of your original PC Personal Resume
Kit (TM) diskette, then put the original in a safe place.
We recommend using the working copy from this point on
instead of using the original diskette (and possibly
damaging it).
The PC Personal Resume Kit (TM) distribution diskette
contains the following files:
a. RESUME.EXE - Program "PC Personal Resume" you will
send to the prospective employer
allowing them to view the contents of
your resume complete with a digitized

c. RESUME.DAT - Resume data used by RESUME.EXE
d. RESUME.RES - Sample resume
e. MANAGER.EXE - Program that allows you to modify /
delete existing resumes, create new
resumes or build a diskette
containing the customized PC Personal
Resume you will be sending to your
prospective employer.
f. MANUAL.DOC - On line User's Manual
g. REGISTER.DOC- On line registration form
h. README.DOC - Text file containing an overview of
the PC Personal Resume Kit (TM).

Chapter 2 - PC Personal Resume
2.0 PC Personal Resume
As the number of personal computers used by businesses in-
creases, the chances of your prospective employer having
access to a personal computer is better. One way to stand
out from the rest is to send a diskette containing a pro-
gram that will allow them to view your resume, complete
with a digitized image of yourself, on the screen of their
personal computer!
The PC Personal Resume program is an IBM PC compatible
program that will display the contents of your resume,
along with a digitized image of yourself. A diskette con-
taining your PC Personal Resume can be sent with, or in-
stead of your paper resume. This is a unique tool you can

The PC Personal Resume Manager is an IBM PC compatible
program used to manage all of your PC Personal Resumes and

your prospective employer to execute your PC Personal

scribing the minimum hardware requirements along with how
to execute your PC Personal Resume. The instructions may
be as follows:
I would like to invite you to execute an IBM PC com-
patible program (residing on the enclosed diskette)
that will display the contents of my resume along
with a digitized image of myself.
My PC Personal Resume program requires that your
monitor supports a minimum configuration of:
1) EGA graphics (640 X 350 pixels)
2) 16 colors
3) 2 Video Pages
To execute my PC Personal Resume, at the DOS prompt

PC Personal Resume
--------------------

contents of your resume complete with a digitized image of
yourself. A diskette containing your PC Personal Resume can
be sent with, or instead of your paper resume. The photograph

requires a minimum of an EGA graphics monitor.

The main screen of the PC Personal Resume Manager displays all
existing resumes, in alphabetical order, allowing you to

Shareware has the ultimate money-back
guarantee -- if you don't use the product, you don't pay for
it.
DISCLAIMER - AGREEMENT
------------------------
Users of "PC Personal Resume Kit" must accept this disclaimer
of warranty: "PC Personal Resume Kit is supplied as is.
The author disclaims all warranties, expressed or implied,
including, without limitation, the warranties of merchantability
and of fitness for any purpose. The author assumes no liability
for damages, direct or consequential, which may result from the
use of PC Personal Resume Kit." PC Personal Resume Kit is a
"shareware program" and is provided at no charge to the user
for evaluation. Feel free to share it with your friends, but
please do not give it away altered or as part of another
system. The essence of "user-supported" software is to
provide personal computer users with quality software without
high prices, and yet to provide incentive for programmers to
continue to develop new products. If you find this program
useful and want your own personalized copy of the PC Personal
Resume Kit, complete the registration form (filename:
REGISTER.DOC) and send your photo (photo will be digitized and
returned to you) and payment of $20.00 (U.S.) to NYEWARE.

remuneration must first contact NYEWARE at the address below
for authorization. This authorization will be automatically
granted to distributors recognized by the (ASP) as adhering
to its guidelines for shareware distributors, and such
distributors may begin offering PC Personal Resume Kit
immediately (However NYEWARE must still be advised so that
the distributor can be kept up-to-date with the latest
version of PC Personal Resume Kit).
You are encouraged to pass a copy of PC Personal Resume Kit

Chapter 1
1.0 INTRODUCTION
The PC Personal Resume Kit (TM) is a software package that
allows you to create and manage your IBM PC compatible ex-
ecutable resumes. As your PC Personal Resume is executed,
a digitized image of yourself and the contents of your re-
sume can be viewed by the person of which you are seeking
an interview.
2) MANAGER - This is the PC Personal Resume Manager
program that allows you to manage all of your re-
sumes and build diskettes containing all files nec-
essary for your prospective employer to execute
your PC Personal Resume.

A diskette con-
taining your PC Personal Resume can be sent with, or in-

use to stand out from all the rest!
The PC Personal Resume Manager is an IBM PC compatible
program used to manage all of your PC Personal Resumes and
build a diskette containing all of the files necessary for
your prospective employer to execute your PC Personal

scribing the minimum hardware requirements along with how
to execute your PC Personal Resume. The instructions may
be as follows:

that will display the contents of my resume along
with a digitized image of myself.
My PC Personal Resume program requires that your
monitor supports a minimum configuration of:
