DataBase Publisher - Files You should be aware of.

DATAPUB.EXE ..................... The executable program.
DATAPUB.DOC ..................... Eight pages of program documentation.
COVER.TXT ....................... Text to appear on cover of booklet (PG-1)
PG-1.SAV - PG-8.SAV ............. Sample booklet. Can be printed by program.
REPORT.DP ....................... Transaction report. Printed by program.

.......................... These files should be left alone.

This disk contains the DataBase Publisher program. Sample files are included,
so you don't have to spend a lot time entering test data just to see what the
program can do. When you're ready to set up your own database just copy
DATAPUB.EXE on a new floppy, or a sub directory of your hard disk, and the
program will create all files it needs.

Note: If files were extracted from an archieve you won't have the sample data.

To print out the program documentation: copy datapub.doc lpt1

Comments and suggestions for improvement are much appreciated.

  1. Very nice! Thank you for this wonderful archive. I wonder why I found it only now. Long live the BBS file archives!

  2. This is so awesome! 😀 I’d be cool if you could download an entire archive of this at once, though.

  3. But one thing that puzzles me is the “mtswslnkmcjklsdlsbdmMICROSOFT” string. There is an article about it here. It is definitely worth a read: http://www.os2museum.com/wp/mtswslnk/
