³ Put 'Merge Keys' in your form where you want PFM to print database info. ³
³ &name &title &company &salutation &street &city ³
³ &date &message &comment &phone &prompt ³

³ Two or more merge keys may appear on a line. But, some of PFM's database ³
³ fields allow up to 42 characters (eg., Name, Title, Company, etc.). Two ³
³ of these biggies on an 80-character line may cause strange results. ³

³ Put '(&n)' or '(&t)' where you want to Auto-Edit NUMBERS ONLY or ANY TEXT. ³
³ ('Numbers Only' includes 0-9, and periods, commas and dollar signs -- .,$) ³
³ * Both parentheses are critical, to tell PFM how many characters to allow. ³
³ * For example, (&n) allows 1-4 numbers, (&t ) allows 1-7 characters. ³
³ The parentheses are included in these counts. The minumum width of ³
³ a '(&' field is 4, though you can enter 1-4 characters in this field. ³

³ You can run PFM in 2 ways. At the DOS prompt type either: ³
³ PFM PFM creates/uses MailCall.DAT and MailCall.IDX (the default) ³

³ PFM FileName PFM will create/use 'FileName.DAT' & 'FileName.IDX.' ³

³ If you want to Edit or Auto-Edit, press [P]review. To add a left margin, ³
³ enter the # of spaces (1-9) to indent. Normally press for lines/page. ³

³ To edit a form, choose [P]review/Edit at the menu above. PFM displays your ³
³ form, replacing merge keys with database info. It pauses and displays: ³
³ ³
³ Press: Up/Dn/PgDn/PgUp [E]dit [A]uto Edit [P]rint [N]on-Stop [S]kip [Q]uit ³
³ ³
³ Press [E]dit to edit any 'text areas' -- blank spaces or areas with text. ³
³ * Press Down cursor to quickly move down. Press to move ACROSS ³
³ columns, if any, or down if you're on the last/only column. ³
³ Press [A]uto-Edit to jump to the 1st '(&' phrase, letting you edit it. ³
³ * Press or Down cursor to move to the next '(&'. If none, PFM returns.³
³ Press [S]kip if you asked to print a range of names, but want to skip one. ³
