This program is to produce a nice looking fax 'first sheet'. (Have you
ever grown weary of the zeroxed one hundred million times fax first
sheets on which is scribbled the 'from' info and if you had to include a
letter, forget it?)

It is shareware. If you find this program of use in your business or

HOW TO USE NUFAX:

This archive should include 2 files: NUFAX.EXE
CONFIG.BAT

NUFAX is of course, the program. CONFIG is what you run if you want to
change one of the 'defaults' (that's the stuff which comes up in the
spaces when you boot up the program so you don't have to type it in
every time)

When you first run NUFAX or when you run CONFIG (only run CONFIG when
you WANT to change something like your address or the stuff which comes
up...) you will see the following screen:

You just fill in the blanks here. If you make a mistake the arrow keys
will allow you to go back. Fill in the name of your company the way you
want it to appear on the fax first sheet, the address etc. Then, you
will have _printed_ personalized fax first sheets to send which will
make a super good impression! You also fill in the name of the person,
phone number and company you fax most often. Don't worry about this...
if you need to change it, the first key you type on the fax first sheet
field you want to change, will wipe out the stuff which came up. But so
often, we are faxing one company or person all the time and this stuff
being there saves sooooo much typing. Fill in YOUR fax number also.
And YOUR name if you are the person who is most often faxing. When it
prints out it will add @OFFICE to your name so if you are not at an
office, put your name, the "@" and wherever you are.

Like suppose your name is Julie and you are at the warehouse. You will
fill in the "Person most often faxng" field like: "JULIE @ WAREHOUSE"

After you fill in these fields and press {ENTER} on the last field, you
will see the usual screen you see when you run NUFAX:

Change anything you need to and add what the reason for the fax is (see
how I put in 'RE OUR PHONE CONVERSATION)? When you press {ENTER} on the
RE field, you will see a sort of word processor window pop up. It looks
like the following:

There is a help screen (press F1) and it is pretty straight forward.
Don't press {ENTER} at the end of each line. It will jump down to the
next line FOR you!

Type as much as you need and when you are done, press {ESC} or F2. At
this point if you made a terrible mistake you can edit the entire thing
again. If you don't need to edit, just press {ENTER} when you get this
box up asking you if you want to edit.

Then it asks you if your printer is 'on line' and ready. If it is not
ready, it will tell you it isn't! So check your printer and if it IS
ready, press {ENTER} again:

And that's all there is to it. If you want to edit a similar one,
answer "YES" to the box which pops up after your first sheet is printed
and it will give you a screen with all the fields filed in the way they
were on the last fax sheet you did. If you want to do a different one
or want to exit, press "N". Then {ESC} to EXIT or just start entered a
new one.
