** DESCRIPTION **

COMPUTER DARKROOM was created for photographers that are
involved in ÿthe custom photographic ÿprinting process. ÿBoth
armatures ÿand professional photographers will find that this
program will reduce the cost and time spent in printing.

The program accomplishes this by eliminating the need to
make multiple test prints. Only a single test print is needed
to provide the initial printing parameters.

When ÿÿprinting ÿvariables ÿsuch ÿas ÿÿprinting ÿÿpaper,
magnification ÿand filter values change the ÿprocedure ÿwould
normally ÿbe ÿto ÿcreate a test print with ÿvarying ÿexposure
times ÿto ÿfind ÿthe best ÿexposure ÿtime ÿfor ÿthat ÿset ÿof
conditions. ÿÿCOMPUTER DARKROOM eliminates the need for ÿthis
test print ÿby calculating the new exposure time based on the
changes that were ÿmade. ÿAll subsequent test prints are also
eliminated ÿsince ÿthe program is capable of calculating ÿthe
exposure times for multiple changes in printing parameters.
