Thank you for evaluating CALNOTES, a calendar unlike any you have worked
with before. A few of the features are:

Full screen calendar with room for holidays or reminders every day.

Automatic carryover of unfinished "to do" items.

Free-form notes up to 150 lines long for each day.

Ability to set up to 20 alarms during the day.

Built-in telephone list.

Simple, intuitive operation - no confusing commands to remember.

Use the paging and arrow keys to view this README file.

If you downloaded CALNOTES from a bulletin board, you do not need to run the
INSTALL program. Print the documentation and follow the "Getting Started"
section for a tour of features.

If you received CALNOTES on a disk, it is best to make a copy and save the
original. You can do this using the DOS COPY command or run the INSTALL
program by selecting "Install" from the menu at the top of the screen.

The INSTALL program copies the files needed to run CALNOTES and can modify
your AUTOEXEC.BAT file if you ask it to. The optional modification adds the
CALNOTES directory to the DOS path (so the program can be run from any
directory) and automatically starts the alarm program at system boot time.

Select a menu item using the right or left arrows and press the ENTER key.
