Output of file : HEXREAD.SPC contained in archive : PS431.ZIP
#(SBN file=HEXREAD) (SPC file=HEXREAD.SPC)

usage: PS /b HEXREAD /f [/f ]

See the HEXDUMP specification file for details. This program will
undo what HEXDUMP did.

After this processing takes place, the output file may have some
extra 0x00 bytes at the end. This is due to the formatting of the
HEXDUMP processing. If the file is actually a variable length record
file you can run it through VLRCHOP to "chop" off the trailing NULL
bytes. If the file is of fixed length records or a byte oriented file
then it will be necssary to use ParaSort directly to remove them.

  1. Very nice! Thank you for this wonderful archive. I wonder why I found it only now. Long live the BBS file archives!

  2. This is so awesome! 😀 I’d be cool if you could download an entire archive of this at once, though.

  3. But one thing that puzzles me is the “mtswslnkmcjklsdlsbdmMICROSOFT” string. There is an article about it here. It is definitely worth a read: http://www.os2museum.com/wp/mtswslnk/
