IMPORTANT NOTE:
***DO NOT install PowerMenu by just copying it to your hard drive.***
***The MINSTALL program uses a special install procedure.***
All of the PowerMenu files will reside in a
subdirectory called \MENU. This allows PowerMenu
to find the support files it needs from anywhere
on your hard disk.
** The PowerMenu disk contains an installation utility **
called MINSTALL.
2. Put the PowerMenu disk in floppy drive A: and
at the DOS prompt type the command:
A:MINSTALL C:
Where "C:" is the letter of the drive on which you wish
to install PowerMenu. If your hard drive uses a different
letter, use it instead.
3. After typing the appropriate command, press the [ENTER] key.
4. After PowerMenu has been installed, you may run it
by typing `MENU`. This command should be typed at the DOS
prompt while in the \MENU subdirectory of your hard disk.
5. After PowerMenu is running and the main menu is displayed on
your screen, you may press the [F1] key to call up the help
screen. While the help window is active, you may use the up
and down arrow keys to display the different pages of help.
Press the [ESC] key to exit help.
6. An information file about the new features in the
newest version of PowerMenu (4.14) may be viewed or
printed from the file PWNEWS.TXT on the install floppy.
7. You can exit from PowerMenu by pressing [ESC] and then
pressing "Y" when PowerMenu asks if you wish to exit to DOS.
8. If you wish PowerMenu to load automatically when your computer
is booted, place these commands at the END of your AUTOEXEC.BAT.
