Category : File Managers
Archive   : NDIR177.ZIP
Filename : NDINSTAL.TXT
This program is used to upgrade existing copies of NDIR.EXE
to a newer version. The new version is named NDIRNEW.EXE.
copy both of these files into the directory containing your
current NDIR.EXE, then run NDINSTAL... It will copy your
existing settings, colors, defaults, etc. into the new
version, so you won't have to use NDIRMOD to change everything
again. When it's done, it will delete your old version
and rename NDIRNEW.EXE to NDIR.EXE. Once this is done, you
can delete NDINSTAL.EXE; it doesn't serve any other purpose,
and any new versions will always contain the program.
Enjoy NDIR!!
Very nice! Thank you for this wonderful archive. I wonder why I found it only now. Long live the BBS file archives!
This is so awesome! 😀 I’d be cool if you could download an entire archive of this at once, though.
But one thing that puzzles me is the “mtswslnkmcjklsdlsbdmMICROSOFT” string. There is an article about it here. It is definitely worth a read: http://www.os2museum.com/wp/mtswslnk/
