L.COM parameters:

PATHNAME: the parameter ".", "..", or one containing ':' or '\'
FILE/DIRECTORY NAME: a parameter not "." or ".." and not having ':', '\' or '/'
WILDCARDS: '*' matches 0 or more chars anywhere in name.
'?' matches 1 char unless end of name or type.
'+' must match 1 char.

SWITCHES
/. - separate name & type with '.'
/2 - list 2 full columns per line (for 132 column display)
/4 - list 4 names per line
/5 - list 5 names per line
/6 - list 6 names per line (for 132 column display)
/8 - list 8 names per line (for 132 column display)
/A - list hidden & system files & volume name
/B - list file size & allocation totals
/D - list files and directories
/F - list full drive, path & file names: one per line
/H - omit headings, totals & empty lines (for sorting)
/O - list directories only
/R - suppress "*** redef ***" message
/S - search subdirectories
