TypeWrite! V1.4 (c) 1987 Dalsoft Jeff Wolfe

TypeWrite! was written to fulfill a need that I'm sure a lot of
others have as well. Sure I could use Microsoft Word (TM) to type 2
mailing labels, But that's quite a project . So evolved TypeWrite I've
added some features to it that I think are useful. If you have any
suggestions, PLEASE let me know as I can't possibly think of everything.

Now for some Demos.

TypeWrite! can be used 2 ways :

First is a Line By Line entry mode, This works on the principal that one
likes to check what he types before he prints it.. Here is an Example

A:>TYPE! /L

*** Line at a time entry mode. Type <*Q*> to end.

(The "?" is the prompt used to ask the user for a line)

?Jeff Wolfe

(Printer Prints "Jeff Wolfe")

?114 Lake St.

(Printer prints "114 Lake St.")

?Dalton, Pa. 18414

(Printer Prints "Dalton, Pa. 18414"

?*Q*

(Program Ends)

A:>

That's all there is to it. No more No Less

Lets Take a look at Single char. Entry Mode

A:>Type! /S

*** Character at a time entry mode. Press to quit.

(You Must type each character by itself and the program will send it to
the printer as it is typed

following feature.....

A:>Type! /s 1

This will tell typewrite to send control strings associated to #1 to the
printer before starting typing. Use the form at the END of this
documentation to get your copy.

There are 3 Demo macros installed ... There is a list at the end of the
next page

Lastly ... a New feature (To this Version) is the support of decimal
#s. The program asks you for any decimal strings you want to send to the
printer simply by pressing <*D*> in Line by Line or in single
character mode. after you finish your entry press to quit.
