Description:

This little utility will be found handy by people who print DOS text files.
It reads the entire text file and estimates number of pages (either single
or continues) that will be used for printing, it estimates the printing
time on both 160 characters per second (draft) and 40 characters per second
(Near Letter Quality) - these two figures are for a standard dot/matrix
printer.

Preprint will also suggest the pitch to be used while printing
the documents :

all lines shorter or equal to 80 characters - PITCH 10

at least one line longer than 80, but shorter than 96 - PITCH 12

at least one line longer than 96, but shorter than 120 - PITCH 15

at least one line longer than 120 characters - WARNING !

For further information on how to set the PITCH on your printer you will
have to refer to your printer manual.
