The file you've just downloaded will duplicate the DEMO distribution diskette
in which "Magnum BBS" is sent out.

In that the "installation" of version 6.00D2 can only be performed via the
distribution diskette, you must CREATE a distribution diskette by following
these steps:

1) Copy this READ.ME file to your printer and DELETE this file (it
will be replaced).

2) Insert a HIGH-DENSITY (1.2 Mb or more) FORMATTED diskette into
diskette drive A.

3) Create a temporary subdirectory on your hard disk. Example:

MD C:\MAGTEMP
CD C:\MAGTEMP

This subdirectory must have approximately 2 Mb free disk space.

4) Copy the file MAKEDIST.CMD to this subdirectory.

5) Copy the file M600D2.ZIP into this subdirectory.

6) UnZIP the files within M600D2.ZIP:

CD C:\MAGTEMP
PKUNZIP2 -o M600D2

7) After insuring that a blank, formatted high-density diskette is in
your diskette drive A, run the following command:

MAKEDIST

8) When step 7 completes, delete all the files in the temporary
subdirectory and remove the subdirectory. Example:

CD ..
DEL C:\MAGTEMP\*.*
RD C:\MAGTEMP

9) You have now created an exact copy of the distribution diskette for
the Magnum BBS DEMO version 6.00D2.
To install version 6.00D2, see the READ.ME file on the distribution
diskette. It's in the root directory as A:\READ.ME

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

We cannot guarantee the integrity of this DEMO version if you've downloaded
this file from anywhere but the "Gilmore Systems of Southern California" BBS
at (818) 706-9805 or in the U.K. from TJD Software BBS (0535) 665345. We will
also attempt to make this distribution available on CompuServe on the IBMOS2
forum as well as the IBMBBS forum; and also on the IBM NSC BBS in Atlanta.
There will be other "approved" BBS's carrying this file. If you're not sure
