For those who have problem on DOS full screen with TVGA8900B chip set:
1. Put the 8900BFIX.COM into effect upon opening a DOS session.
I.e., insert the following line into AUTOEXEC.BAT:
8900BFIX
This will fix the setmode problem and session switch problem.
2. If the DOS screen is still trashed after set mode, use the utility
RTR.EXE to obtain the video parameters.
RTR n >filename
Under OS/2 DOS session, use filename "BAD", under normal DOS
(same test mode as OS/2 DOS session), use filename "GOOD".
Upload both "GOOD" and "BAD" to Trident BBS (415) 691-1016 BETA
forum, and describe the problem you have.
3. Current solution copes only text mode 2 and 3.
