Most of the new utilities in this minor update are to aid
administrators in the task of updating the workstation shells
and document/administer MHS boxes.
Most of the new additions were requested by Terry Bergman of
Toshiba America (714) - . The enclosed UPDSHELL.TXT
file is a description of a batch routine that can used to
upgrade the IPX and other shell files on each individual
workstation automatically.
New utilities:
NMHS2TXT Convert MHS Email to Text File, and run batch file
NPHONE Display text search matches of text file
NLOGMSG Log Messages to specified text file
NCMPDATE Compare File Date with specified date - return errorlevel
NCMPDRVR Compare Shell Version with specified # - return errorlevel
NSTRING Find specified text in specified file - return errorlevel
NRPTMHS Quick Report on the MHS Configured Users
Note: This first version is very basic in its report content
Modified utilities:
NLIST Display active (special) users
NCOPYIPX Added a few notes in ?
NMANPCON Fixed minor bug with user definitions
NEQUA Allow same user to be equal to specified security equal
Installation:
Just UnPkzip and copy(overwrite) the .EXE files. All existing batch
file should be seamless with this version.
