Introduction
------------

PBack is the command line version of PC-Studio. It incorporates all
of its' features, including auto-detection. However, its' advantage lies
in that you can execute PBack from any .BAT file, or any program for that
matter.



System Requirements
-------------------

IBM PC,XT,AT,PS/2 or 100% compatible.
5k + size of sound file.
Color or monochrome monitor.

Recommended Hardware:

286/12MHz or better.
Hard disk



PBack Command Line Options
--------------------------



The following is the format for the PBack command line:

PBACK [switches][drive:][path][filename]

The following are possible switches:

/S suppresses all output to the display, except for errors.

/Fx is the file format:
1 for Macintosh sound files (default).
2 for Amiga sound files.

/Rxxx is the playback rate up to 255. 54 is default if no auto-
detect occurs.

/Ox is the slow-down rate between 1-4 inclusive. 2 is default.

/Vxxx is the volume level from 0-100 inclusive. 10 is default
(no amplification).

These playback settings are identical (in mechanism) to those in PC-Studio.
Refer to the PC-Studio documentation (STUDIO.DOC) for a complete description
of these settings.
