; This sample map converts a General MIDI drum chart to a Yamaha PSR-47
; (or compatible) sound unit. Note that, while MIDI rhythms are usually
; on channel 10, the PSR-47 expects to find them on channel 16 when it's
; placed into its "standard voice" mode. This mode is preferable since
; it simultaneously supports up to 8 melody voices and 7 rhythms. It is
; simple to invoke by holding down the MIDI button while simultaneously
; pressing the zero of the "voice select" number pad. You can also change
; the rhythm channel on the PSR-47 if it's not easy to edit your MIDI file.

  1. Very nice! Thank you for this wonderful archive. I wonder why I found it only now. Long live the BBS file archives!

  2. This is so awesome! 😀 I’d be cool if you could download an entire archive of this at once, though.

  3. But one thing that puzzles me is the “mtswslnkmcjklsdlsbdmMICROSOFT” string. There is an article about it here. It is definitely worth a read: http://www.os2museum.com/wp/mtswslnk/
