This is the Demo Version of Cakewalk 3.0 -- the world's most popular
IBM MIDI sequencer software. The Demo is a working version of the
real program with a couple of limitations:

- You can load files (both Cakewalk and MIDI Files), but you
cannot save them.

- Songs can have no more than approximately 2,000 events (notes).

Aside from those limits, this version works and looks like the real
thing.

You may find it hard to fully appreciate the program without having a
manual. But the on-line help system is available to answer many
questions: simply press the F1 function key just about anywhere in
the program.

On a less happy note: please beware of bootleg copies of Cakewalk
sold with CMS MIDI interfaces. These copies are not authorized by us
and we haven't been paid for them -- and if you buy them you won't be
able to get support and upgrades from us, the makers of Cakewalk.
Reputable MIDI dealers have equally affordable bundles with a MIDI
interface and Cakewalk in our own genuine Twelve Tone Systems
packaging. Please support us so that we can support you!

If you have questions about the program, please note the special
"Support" and "General" phone numbers displayed on the screen after
the program ends. We're happy to answer your questions and send you
detailed literature.
