WELCOME TO ADA-TUTR, THE INTERACTIVE ADA TUTOR!
You don't need an Ada compiler to run ADA-TUTR on a PC, but there are two
things you should do before starting the program. First, the PRINT.ME file
contains 54 pages of notes that should be printed. If you give the command
PRINT PRINT.ME before running ADA-TUTR for the first time, your notes will be
printed while you begin using the tutor. If you like, you can punch the notes
with three holes and put them in a report binder. Page 39 of PRINT.ME tells
how to install ADA-TUTR on non-PC computers, such as mainframes.
Second, see if the next sentence has strange characters like "[m" in it:
One word of this sentence should be [1mbrighter[m than the rest.
If the sentence above has strange characters, you need to install ANSI.SYS
(which came with DOS) before running ADA-TUTR. Please see page 6 of PRINT.ME
for instructions. If the test sentence looks as it should, we're ready. Just
type ADA_TUTR and press Enter!
We wish you success learning Ada, the very best programming language!
ADA-TUTR is Shareware. Please see page 2 of PRINT.ME for an explanation.
