This month you get a demo of Code Base 4.2. Code Base gives C and C++
programmers dBASE and Clipper functionality and file compatibility.
Version 4.2 adds C++, and K&R C compatibility under DOS, OS/2, UNIX,
or MS Windows. They've also added a customizable browse/edit. According
to the company, "you can access data five times faster with Code Base
than dBASE IV and twice as fast as FoxPro. Once the data is read, C
programs process it 200 times faster." The DOS and OS/2 version costs
