DESCRIPTION:

FINANALY! is a Lotus 1-2-3 Release 2.01 template. It is a powerful
set of models which can thoroughly analyze an annual report providing
trend analysis and measures of performance (ratios). The following
files should have been included in your FINANALY! package:

If any of these files are missing, the program will not function
properly.

REQUIREMENTS:

You'll need the following to run FINANALY!:

* An IBM personal computer or compatible with a hard disk.

* MS-DOS version 2.0 or greater.

* At least 640K RAM.

* A Copy of LOTUS DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION's 1-2-3 Release 2.01.

GETTING STARTED:

1. Copy all the FINANALY! files to a directory of your choice on
the hard disk. For example: Type c: and then press the Return
key. Next, Enter cd\ and press Return. Then type md fin and
press Return. Then copy all the FINANALY! files to c:\fin.

2. Start 1-2-3 and retrieve the FINANALY.WK1 file with the /File
Retrieve command. Be sure to indicate the correct path. For
example: If you have all the FINANALY! files in a directory
named c:\fin then enter /FRc:\fin\finanaly and press the
Return key.

3. Select Set Up from the menu when FINANALY! is loaded into
1-2-3's memory. Indicate the complete path name and press the
Return key.

4. Select Run and press Return to start FINANALY!. Use the
context sensitive help screens to guide you from here.

RESTRICTIONS ON UNREGISTERED VERSION:

There are a number of limitations in the demo program.

* You have to watch the lengthy graphics display each time you
start the program.

* Many calculations in the analysis will not be performed
although enough performance measures will be presented to
demonstrate the power of the model.

* The two most effective ways for saving your work, SAVE and
EXTRACT, are disabled in the demo model. You can still save
your work with the ARCHIVE menu selection, but this is
extremely time consuming.
