Cursor keys for browsing interface

Many hypertext systems use a mouse for selecting information
for detailed exploration. However, the MaxThink developer
prefers "arrow key browsing" of information, for the
following reasons:

(1) Arrow keys are faster than moving a mouse
(2) Arrow keys are familiar to most computer users
(3) Arrow keys let you keep your hands on the keyboard

(4) Arrow keys require less hand/eye coordination
(5) Arrow keys are easily learned in a minute
(6) Arrow keys are sufficient for all link operations

Opinion -- While 90 % of all information is visual, 90% of
======= recorded knowledge is in textual formats ...
perhaps arrows are best for textual formats.
