NLM DATA ON CD-ROM

The National Library of Medicine's computerized store of journal
article references is available in several forms. References are
published monthly in the Index Medicus_ and available through the
MEDLINE_ database and other NLM online files. The NLM leases MEDLINE
and other databases on magnetic tape to many licensees, both domestic
and abroad. Some of these licensees use NLM databases to create CD-
ROM products. The following is a list of those licensees who, at
the time of this writing, have produced CD-ROM products using leased
NLM data. For information about their products, we suggest you
contact these licensees.

On September 23, 1988, the Library sponsored a one-day evaluation
forum titled "MEDLINE on CD-ROM." The forum featured field-test
reports from institutions using the various MEDLINE CD-ROM products
then available. MEDLINE on CD-ROM, a published report of the forum,

postage and handling.
