Diskpix is a program to graphically display the state of all the hard disk
drives in a system or network. It presents pie-chart displays showing the
amount of free space on each drive and most importantly, the per-centage of
the drive which has not yet been backed up.

Running the program is an easy and fun way to get a quick mental picture of
when back ups are needed.

Program Requirements:
Diskpix has been tested on EGA and VGA systems, but it should also work
on CGA equipped systems.

It should work with up to 26 hard drives (or RAM disks), displaying
groups of four drives at a time.

Note: The program will only work with consecutively lettered disk drives,
and will stop functioning at the first missing drive letter. Therefore,
a system with drives A, B, C, D, E will work fine, but A, B, C, E will not.

Using the Program:
1. type DISKPIX from the dos prompt.
2. enjoy.

Sharing the Program:
If you like Diskpix, you are free to distribute it to friends and associates
at no charge. No changes to the program are permitted.

Upgrade history:
Diskpix 1.5 12/23/89
1. fixes bug when more that 4 drives are displayed in which the
display would not pause on the second or succeeding pages.
2. changed colors of display.
3. changed definition of pie-segments: Now they more accurately
reflect the status of the drive:
A. 1st segment shows total of bytes already backed up
B. 2nd segment shows bytes free
C. 3rd segment shows bytes needing to be backed up
A + B + C equals total capacity of drive.
