PURPOSE:
Black and White Translator (BWTSR) was written for laptop owners
who had CGA cards built into thier two color systems (ie, LCD
screens). Invariably, you would run some software that would
try to write text to the screen in such a manner that would
render the text invisible, thus making the software next to
useless for you. BWTSR, when invoked, rewrites screen RAM with
a white on black (which will seem reversed to LCS screen owners,
but trust me on this) attribute and make the screen visible
again.
OPERATION:
To set up the BWTSR, either run the program BWTSR.EXE from the
DOS prompt or insert it into your AUTOEXEC.BAT file so that it
will be resident all the time. Your machine will act as normal.
When you encounter some text written to your screen that is hard
to read, just hold down the left shift key and press the right
shift key. The entire screen will be rewritten so that all is
in black and white, which is much more readily readable on a
laptop system.
FINALLY:
If you would like to register your copy of BWTSR with the
author, send $5.00 (US) to:

If you have any comments or suggestions, please send them to the
same address.
