GENOA SYSTEMS INC.
MCLK.EXE Ver. 1.0
03/04/93
----------------------------------------------------------------

NOTE: MCLK.EXE will only run on Genoa VGA Models 8500/8500VL.

If you are experiencing video problems with your 8500/8500VL
your problems may be solved by running the MCLK.EXE utility.
Some of the known problems are:

Blinking Characters
Incorrect Characters
Reversed Video
Bleeding in MS Windows

Copy MCLK.EXE to your hard drive and run it. It should return
for you a statment of the present video MCLK value.

Example:

The memory clock value is currently 26, i.e., 68.010 MHz

The default MCLK value at system power-up is 26. If you are
experiencing video problems then its obvious you must set
it to a lower value.

Example:

C:>MCLK 25

The memory clock value is currently 25, i.e., 66.220 MHz

Once you find a good setting put it in your autoexec.bat
file and it will be set everytime you boot your computer.

Note: The values are in hex!
Also, if you choose a value thats too high, your video
will go crazy and you will need to reset your computer.
