| III. How to Start Program ||

| A. TO START Program on a Two-Drive Floppy System: |
| 1. Insert DOS disk in Drive A and close the door. |
| 2. Turn on the computer. |
| 3. Enter date and time if DOS prompts for them. |
| 4. Insert Program Disk in Drive A and close the door. |
| 5. Insert Data Disk #1 in Drive B and close the door. |
| 6. Type A: and press . |
| 7. Type WIS and press . |

| B. TO START Program on a Hard Disk System THE FIRST TIME ONLY: |
| 1. Turn on the computer. |
| 2. Enter date and time if DOS prompts for them. |
| 3. Insert Program Disk in Drive A and close the door. |
| 4. Type A: and press . |
| 5. Type INSTALL and press . |
| 6. Follow instructions on screen. |

| C. TO START Program on Hard Disk System AFTER THE FIRST TIME: |
| 1. Turn on the computer. |
| 2. Enter date and time if DOS prompts for them. |
| 3. Type C: and press . |
| 4. Type CD \WISDOM and press . |
| 5. Type WIS and press . |

| A. Commands - Just press the number, letter, or function key |
| associated with your choice. Available commands |
| are shown at the bottom of the screen. |

| B. Menus - Move the LightBar with arrow keys or |
| to desired choice; Press or to |
| select. |

|| V. Program Maintenance and Repair ||

| A. BACKUP COPIES - Make them when you don't need them, because |
| when you need them you can't make them. |
| |

| B. REPLACE MENU LIGHTS - If the reverse video menu bars disappear |
| on your monochrome system these actions will turn on the lights. |
| 1. Type A: and press . |
| 2. Insert Program in Drive A. |
| 3. Insert Data Disk #2 in Drive B. |
| 4. Type COPY B:WIS.BAK A:WIS.COM and press . |
| 5. Run program per instructions. |

| C. TOO MANY FILES OPEN - If you receive a Turbo I/O Error Message |
| or if the same help screen keeps appearing even though you are |
| pressing different keys, then implement one of the below listed |
| remedies. |
| 1. Permanent Remedy - Add the line "Files=20" to your |
| Config.Sys file. Reboot system and |
| start program per instructions. |
| 2. Temporary Remedy - Reboot your system with a DOS disk that |
| does not have an Autoexec.Bat file. |
| Then start program per instructions. |

  2. This is so awesome! 😀 I’d be cool if you could download an entire archive of this at once, though.
