SOPWITH DOCUMENTATION:

This isn't my program but I figured out enough to get running. At the first
screen you get three options: Single, for practice; Multiple, for several
people; and Computer, to play against the computer.
You have the blue airplane, blue tank and blue airfield. The red things
belong to the bad guys. Only a few keys work. S to toggle sound. Backslash
to accelerate on the ground. H to lift off on take off and do a loop in the
air and change directions. Forward slash to level off or dive down. Space
bar to fire your machine gun. B to drop one of your five bombs.
On the bottom of the screen you have four vertical lines. Two blue lines
for fuel. One red line for bombs. One white line for machine gun ammo.
While you are on the ground, you get refueled and rearmed, and you can watch
the lines go back up.
There is an inset on the bottom of the screen that gives you a schematic
of the battlefield (just like Stargate). You are the blue dots and the bad
guys are the red dots. You can see them coming up behind you with the inset.
Your airplane is a little unstable at low altitude so you need to be a
bit careful about pointing your nose to the ground at low levels. There
appears to be a strong breeze running right to left, so you lead the bomb
drops differently depending on your direction.
To take off...turn on the sound with S...hit the throttle with backslash...
wait for the end of the runway...hit the H to lift off and immediately hit
the forward slash to level off or you go into a loop...continue to climb
and then hit forward slash to level off completely. You can destroy all
the buildings and equipment with your machine guns (as well as with bombs),
but you have to be careful, as you need to go into a dive to hit the things,
and you need to pull up from the dive early enough, or good bye Charlie.
Good hunting and watch out for the Red Baron...he is tough.

THEM BUT HAVE FLOWN OFF INTO THE SUNSET ON THE SINGLE PLAYER GAME. AFTER
USING UP YOUR FUEL, BULLETS OR BOMBS, YOU CAN RETURN TO THE HANGER AND
WATCH THEM BE REFILLED AND TAKE OFF AGAIN. ENJOY!!!
