TOOLS.TIL by David Barnes, Menlo Park, CA

This is my first set of tiles using Nels' Tilemaker program.
As an avid home remodeler, I've spent many hours using lots of
different tools to build a deck, remodel a kitchen, build lofts,
or just fix things around the house. Most of the tools are
positioned vertically, mainly because it was the easiest way for
me as a beginning tilemaker to represent slender objects. Also,
the tiles are somewhat monochromatic, as tools usually are,
though I've tried, wherever possible, to introduce some color.
I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them.

The tiles are as follows:

Fasteners 1. Hammer
2. Nail
3. Screwdriver

  1. Very nice! Thank you for this wonderful archive. I wonder why I found it only now. Long live the BBS file archives!

  2. This is so awesome! 😀 I’d be cool if you could download an entire archive of this at once, though.

  3. But one thing that puzzles me is the “mtswslnkmcjklsdlsbdmMICROSOFT” string. There is an article about it here. It is definitely worth a read: http://www.os2museum.com/wp/mtswslnk/
