This file is for those of you who are constantly annoyed by
the fact that you have won the commander keen games, but you can't
seem to find the secret city in episodes 1 and 4. (I haven't
recieved all the rest of the episodes yet from Apogee.)


Episode 1:
of Invasion of the Vorticons



The city here is located in the technodrome-like city on
the dark side of mars.
(in case you can't tell here is the location on the map):

A) - This is a shrine (the blue-ish teepee thing)
At the end of it the one-eyed statue tells you the secret city
is in the city to the south

B) - Another shrine
This is directly south of (A). At the beggining of this level
you can see a door but all the bricks in the hall make you fall
threw to the bottom and you can't get back up.
THE SECRET CITY IS NOT IN HERE!!!!!!!!!!!
(I thought for a long time that is was in there.)

C) - The technodrome-like level
THE WAY TO THE SECRET CITY IS IN HERE!!!!
I can't say the exact route, but make your way up, over, and
back down so your at the bottom of the maze where there is a one
block hole.
Fall down it. You'll pass by two or three fire spots, then
quickly move right one brick while falling.(Because there is a
single spot of fire directly in the center of the tube you fell
down.)
Here is a map of what you must do to get to the teleporter:

(A) - This is where you fell from above
(B) - This is a hidden brick ( jump on it and over the wall dodge the
ice cannons ice shots. (goto "C" )
(C) - stand on this brick then do a timed super pogo-jump into a block
of ice shot from the cannon.
(D) - you will be shot over the wall trapped in ice and you`ll side
to either the (E) on the right or left (you'll want the right (E) more
than the left)
(E) - the robot's shot will free you from the ice or by time the ice will
melt. But when you're out you have to dodge him and his fire to get to
(F)
(F) - this looks like a big blue and white piece of snot, BUT ITS THE
TELEPORTER TO THE SECRET CITY!



Episode 1 :
Of Goodbye Galaxy


Here the secret city is inside the moon pyramid.


(The way to the secret city I discovered completely by accident
yesterday Friday the 13th)

Go to the moon pyramid and take the second door to the right.
You'll appear on the top of the inside of the pyramid. Go right to
the moving black platform jump right when its done moving and get
the yellow gem (key). Go back left to the door and go back to the
beggining of the level. Go right to the first door below and enter
it.
All around you are small worms, ignore them untill later.
Go right untill you reach the door ,put in the gem (key)Go the rest of
the way right , flip the switch (this will close a pit up).
Now make all the worms follow you and bring them all together
to one spot.
ALL OF THE SUDDEN SMOKE WILL APPEAR AND WHEN IT CLEARS THERE
WILL BE A BIG WHITE FOOT SITTING THERE, TOUCH IT.
IT WILL SWITCH TO OVER HEAD VIEW AS THE FOOT HOPES OVER THE
MOUNTAINS AND CRASHES IN FRONT OF THE FORBIDDEN PYRAMID.
IN ORDER TO GET BACK YOU MUST BEAT ALOT OF LEVELS IN THE
HUUUUUUUGE PYRAMID AND FIND THE FOOT AND HOP BACK OVER THE MOUNTAINS.

THE FORBIDDEN PYRAMID LIVES UP
TO ITS NAME, SO LOOK OUT!!!!!!

(EVEN AT "EASY" LEVEL ITS STILL PRETTY HARD)


As soon as I (Jon Goosens) get an Apogee game I beat it
in around two hours threw half a day.
But it took me around 4 months to find the secret city in
the first episode of keen , and I don't want others to go threw
what I went threw trying to find it.
