This document contains important information about Microsoft Flight
Simulator 5.0a Update Disk.

You must install Flight Simulator 5.0 on your hard drive before you can
install the update. To update Flight Simulator 5.0 to 5.0a, insert the
update disk and type UPDATE. Install the update to the current directory
for Flight Simulator 5.0 (FLTSIM5).

Make sure you reinstall any Flight Simulator add-ons (for example, Microsoft
New York, Microsoft Paris, or other scenery products).

It does not delete your PILOTS directory which contains customized Logbooks,
Situations, and Videos.
