MyMoney (formerly PCA)
Personal Checking Account

MyMoney is a full-featured checking account program designed
primarily for personal use. MyMoney can maintain up to 100
different checking accounts at a time, and each account can hold
up to 10,000 transactions. If you've had the disheartening
experience of trying to use other checking account programs,
you'll be pleased at how this program looks and feels just like
your personal checkbook register. MyMoney features all functions
you would want, including printouts, search-and-display,
clearing, and voiding. When you receive your banking statement
once a month, MyMoney even has a special "reconcile" option that
clears and balances your account automatically! MyMoney has
context-sensitive help screens with an on-line manual and a
"quick-select" help index, word-processor capable input boxes,
"point & shoot" user selection, default entries, program path
memory, pop-up windows, "3-D" shadowed boxes, special date and
amount entry formats, and many others functions that rival and
even surpass commercial versions of MyMoney at a fraction of the
cost.

Note that MyMoney is a MAJOR upgrade of PCA, originally released
in 1986. There are significant improvements in the screen
displays and features. There is also a radical difference in the
approach and method of data file maintenance such that data files
created under PCA cannot be converted for use by MyMoney, which
is why I released it as a new program. The internal routines,
however, are tried and true from years of experience under PCA's
hood.


CredCard
Credit Card Accounts

Do you keep personal registers of your credit cards like you do
for your checking account? Why not? If you think about it,
credit card registers are as important as checking account
registers! Yet few of us go to the trouble. Why? Because
frankly, maintaining any kind of financial register is a pain,
right?

CredCard is a powerful, convenient, and very friendly program
designed to maintain transaction registers of up to 1,000
different credit card accounts, and each account can maintain up
to 1,000 transactions! It can be valuable for a personal user,
as well as most business users of credit cards. Aside from doing
all the math for you flawlessly, CredCard is loaded with those
features you like to find in any program, such as: Context-
sensitive help screens, including an on-line manual and a quick-
select help index; word processor capable input boxes; default
entries; program path memory; extensive use of 3-D shadow boxes
and pop-up windows for friendly and visually appealing displays;
and many other similar features. CredCard has powerful searching

transactions in almost any manner you wish. The search/sort
routines are incredibly fast. Results can be viewed and/or

your account that your wish. There are too many other features
to list here, but CredCard's main strengths are that it's
friendly yet powerful, and very practical.

BioBase
Personal Address Book

BioBase is a personal address book with several special features,
including extensive search and find capabilities. BioBase also
keeps track of the current age of all your entries. It includes
a special "birthday" option that displays a list of all people
whose birthday falls on any given month, with the age they will
be on their birthday. Very handy around the first of a month, so
you don't forget your friend's (and your wife's) upcoming
birthday!

million dollars at any given point. The program independently
assigns a "control number" that is forever unique to that
particular entry for control purposes. Evidence has very fast
and powerful search and find capabilities, and very flexible
printout options including "quick lists" of selected groups of
items.


Firearms
Maintain Firearms Scores

Law enforcement or similar-type agencies need to maintain a
complete and accurate record of their officers' firearms scores
over the years. Firearms is custom designed to do that in a very
powerful and friendly way. One thousand person's records can be
kept on file at a time, and each person can have up to 1000
firearm scores entries. The program offers "best guess" default
entries in most input boxes, word-processor capable entries,

A WordSquare Puzzle Creator

Based on a word game popular for many decades, this program will
take a list of words that you provide and hide them in a random
square of letters, putting the words heading left, right, up and
down, diagonally, and backwards! This program is a lot of fun
for your children (occupying them for hours), for teachers,
nursery schools, friends at work, etc. Features include saving
and retrieving lists of words in data files, custom printouts,
etc.

ClassWord
A WordSquare Puzzle Creator, Classroom/Educational Version

This is a "commercial" version of the above described WordHide.
ClassWord allows you to create word lists wherein each word can
have an associated definition. Puzzle printouts can have your
choice of the words themselves, or the associated definitions, as
the reference list. Additionally, in this version the puzzle is
created on screen in real-time as you watch. The program flow is
more professional and to the point.

EGABomb & VGABomb
Artillery Combat Game

EGA/VGA required

This is a graphics game, available in both an EGA and a VGA
version, in which two people fire artillery shells at each other
over hills under a moonlit star-filled sky. Generous use of
random variables guarantees a unique playing field every time you
play. The VGA version contains colors you've probably never seen
before! This is by far my best-selling program.


DeduceIt
A Number Logic Game
$10

This program plays the popular number game where you logically
deduce a random three digit number. Up to four people can play.
The computer will also play if you let it. The game keeps track
of successive rounds and displays a final score when you're
finished. An excellent challenge for logical thinkers.


ESP
Extra Sensory Perception Game
$5

This program tests your psychic abilities; for those more
cynically minded, it provides a demonstration of how the law of
averages work. You are asked to perceive (or guess) a random
number from 1 to 5 as many times as you wish. As you are
responding, a performance bar displays your results in real time
as they vary from low to average to high. You can keep the
results in a cumulative personal data file. The results are very
interesting over successive trials, especially with one friend of
mine who has so far scored WAY above what the law of averages say
she should have "guessed".
