The objective of the game is to get rid of all your cards
by placing them on the discard pile.
You can play a card if:
you have the same suit,
the same number (in which case the suit changes),
or at any time you can play an eight.
If you play an eight you will be prompted for new suit
(h,c,s,d). If you cannot go, hit the space bar. You will
then be dealt a new card.
Game ends at 100 points. The winner receives points from
the losers hand. Points equal face value; Face Cards are
10 each, Aces are worth 15, 8's are (!) 20 each.

The important thing for me (aside from the education I received in the
process of modifying Mr. Davids' code to execute as compiled Basic) is
the knowledge that, together with Mr. Davids' original input, I placing
what I consider to be a quality product in the public marketplace. This
means that the game Crazy8 is friendly, easy to use, and should leave a
pleasant after-glow after you've enjoyed playing it.
If this product merits your appreciation monetarily, I have included my
name and address with the program itself - please send me whatever your
appreciation is worth. Regardless of your disposition in this regard, I
request that you pass on this package as you found it - Arc'd contents:
