Program Description:
********************

ClassWord is a very fast and powerful word-square puzzle maker. Using
your custom created list of up to 20 words (including optional
definitions for each word), it will randomly hide the words forward,
backwards, and in all directions within an unpredictable square of
random letters.

You can save lists of words so that you can use them at any later time
to create a word-square puzzle. The program will save as many lists
as you wish to create.

Once the word-square puzzle is created on screen, you can print as
many puzzles as you need. You can also print a solution page if you
wish. The program gives you the choice of listing either the hidden
words themselves or the optional definitions in the reference list on
the puzzle and solution pages.

Despite the large amount of processing required to create a puzzle,
ClassWord is very fast. The screen displays use a variety of colors
and pop-up windows designed to make the program easy to learn, use,
and understand. However, the program will also look fine on a
monochrome monitor.

ClassWord has an on-line manual/context-sensitive help window that is
always available by pressing the Function Key.

Teachers: ClassWord is tailored for use at all levels from K through
12. It is completely discipline independent and should prove equally
useful regardless of your major subject. ClassWord is also suitable
for use by day care center operators and other similar institutions.



NOTE: If you are evaluating a review version of ClassWord, please
contact RAD Software or your school administrator to obtain the latest
full-featured version of ClassWord.

To Install & Run:
*****************

The following instructions assume that you know next to nothing about
DOS or installing and running programs. We always try to remember
that new computer users are many, and we wish to make things as easy
and clear as possible for these new users.

Floppy disk based users-
************************

Insert a blank floppy disk into Drive A. At the DOS prompt, type
the following:

a: (Enter)
format a: /v/s (Enter)


When the system finishes formatting the disk, it will ask for a
Volume Label. Type

ClassWord (Enter)

Now remove this newly formatted disk from Drive A and insert the
disk containing the ClassWord program files into Drive A. Type
the following:

Copy a:\*.* b: (Enter)

Follow the instructions as they appear on the screen. New users
should note that, on a single floppy disk system, your computer
considers your single drive to be both Drive A and Drive B. When
you are finished, put away the original program in a safe place.
To run ClassWord, insert the new program disk into Drive A. and
type the following at the DOS prompt:

a: (Enter)
ClassWrd (Enter)

ClassWord will then begin.

Hard Disk Users-

At the DOS prompt, type the following:

c: (Enter)
cd\ (Enter)
md \ClassWrd (Enter)
cd \ClassWrd (Enter)



Insert the original program disk in Drive A and type the
following:

copy a:\*.* c:\ClassWrd (Enter)



To start the program, type the following:

c: (Enter)
cd \ClassWrd (Enter)
ClassWrd



Sample word lists may be included in this package so that you can
immediately get some idea of ClassWord's features without having to
enter your own word lists right away.

Using the program:
******************

ClassWord has a manual/help screen that is context-sensitive and
always available by pressing the Function Key. The help file,
once called, is also scrollable using the cursor control keys, and
contains all the information and hints necessary to use the program
effectively. We would suggest that you call up the manual/help screen
at first to familiarize yourself with ClassWord.

If you find that you are using the review version of this program
regularly, please send $10 for the latest full-featured version of a
program that is commercially worth a lot more than that. Make sure
you specify the program name, version number, and the type floppy disk
you need. (Use the order form in the accompanying RadCat.Exe file, or
the Shareware message/order form that appears near the
beginning of the review version of this program.)

If you wish to use this program in a commercial or institutional
