Installation instructions for version 1.10 of
Civilization Editor
NORMAL Installation:
--------------------
If you received this file on a diskette
1- Load Microsoft Windows by typing WIN at the dos prompt
2- Insert the Setup Disk in the floppy drive
3- In Program Manager, choose run from file menu
4- Type X:SETUP where X is the letter of your floppy drive
If you downloaded this file from a BBS
1- You should copy the CIVEDTW2.EXE or CIVEDTN2.exe to a
temporary directory, and then run the CIVEDT?2.exe
program there
(? - either N or W depending on the version you have)
X:>CD\
X:>MD TEMP (or any other name)
X:>COPY CIVEDT?2.EXE X:>\TEMP
X:>run CIVEDTW2 or CIVEDTN2
(X - Letter of your hard disk)
2- Load Microsoft Windows by typing WIN at the dos prompt
3- In Program Manager, choose run from file menu
4- Type X:\TEMP\setup
X = letter of your hard disk
TEMP = name of temporary directory or location of
where you executed CIVEDTW2.EXE or CIVEDTN2.exe
5- After a successful installation, you can delete the TEMP
directory.
PS: I am not asking for any money for this program but I would like you
to write to me with your comments, suggestions and any ideas you might have.
If you do have some codes or information that you feel would be helpful for
other civ addicts, send it to me and I will try to incorporate it in the
next version of the civilization editor. If you do write to me send me a
self addressed stamped envelope and I will mail you a registration number
that should let you use future versions of civilization with this
civilization editor.(no promises)
