CATS....So you think cats can't do tricks, huh? Have I got
a surprise for you!

CATS is a hypertext document and if you follow a few simple
procedures you should have no trouble reading it:

³ ³
³ Getting started is very easy, just unzip the ³
³ files into a hard disk directory or onto a ³
³ floppy disk. (You will need PKUNZIP to do ³
³ this) ³
³ ³
³ Change to the directory containing the files ³
³ and at the prompt type: CATS. ³
³ ³
³ That is all there is to it. ³

1. Press enter, at the Table of Contents Screen, to obtain
the Main Menu.

2. To choose a menu item, use arrow keys to hilite your
selection in black. Press enter. (NOTE: menu is in
alphabetical order.)

3. While reading, if you find a word marked with an asterisk
(*), press the tab key to hilite it and press enter. You
will then be able to read the sub-topic.

4. To exit at any time, press escape.

The rest should be self-explanatory.

  1. Very nice! Thank you for this wonderful archive. I wonder why I found it only now. Long live the BBS file archives!

  2. This is so awesome! 😀 I’d be cool if you could download an entire archive of this at once, though.

  3. But one thing that puzzles me is the “mtswslnkmcjklsdlsbdmMICROSOFT” string. There is an article about it here. It is definitely worth a read:
