1. Introduction
I have always been a fan of the arcade game, Arkanoid. ARK... began
as an attempt to recreate the graphic screens from that game. I was
disappointed with a home version of Arkanoid for the IBM that I had seen.
It did not support EGA as well as I thought it should have and I wrote
ARK.... The game you are reading about now is not a full version of
Arkanoid. To create and distribute such a thing is a violation of copyright
laws I believe. I am creating a personal copy for my own use and I will
distribute it if I find out it is not illegal. This version would be
available free of charge to all people on my mailing list. If you enjoy this
program or wish to get on the mailing list for this and other products which
are for advanced graphics send your $20 dollar donation to the following
address:
Scott DeMers
P.O. Box 9204
Fargo, ND 58106

I will send the software on either 3 1/2" or 5 1/4" format so be sure to
specify which you have.

  1. Very nice! Thank you for this wonderful archive. I wonder why I found it only now. Long live the BBS file archives!

  2. This is so awesome! 😀 I’d be cool if you could download an entire archive of this at once, though.

  3. But one thing that puzzles me is the “mtswslnkmcjklsdlsbdmMICROSOFT” string. There is an article about it here. It is definitely worth a read: http://www.os2museum.com/wp/mtswslnk/
