This describes the only terms by which we,

permit Distribution of this Program. By "Program" we mean this
program (SPACE CHASE Part One - "CITY UNDER SIEGE") and its related
files distributed by us under the trademarks "JASON STORM" and
"SAFARI SOFTWARE PRODUCTIONS" as it may be upgraded or otherwise
modified from time to time.
A. OWNERSHIP
Except as explicitly licensed by us, we have and reserve the
exclusive right to distribute this Program. Non-compliance may
constitute infringement of our copyrights, trademarks, or both.
B. NON-COMMERCIAL DISTRIBUTION
You can (and are encouraged!) to distribute this Program non-
commercially without our permission so long as you include all of
its related files, each in compressed or other format as released
by us (including this VENDOR.DOC). By "non-commercial distrib-
ution" we mean by any [1] not-for-profit organization, [2] hobby,
user or computer interest group to its members, [3] BBS, and any
[4] distribution for free. We ask that you attempt to distribute
the most recent version of the Program.
C. ALL OTHER DISTRIBUTION
We permit all other distribution of this Program only as follows:
[1] LET US KNOW! Before you begin to distribute, you must
notify us IN WRITING indicating your distribution methods and the
price you will charge.
[2] RACKS AND CD-ROMS: If you wish to distribute the Program by
"Rack" or CD-ROM, or otherwise IN A RETAIL PLACE, you must
additionally first obtain our permission in writing. After
receiving written permission, you may distribute up to 100 copies
per month, up to a maximum total of 500 copies of the Program,
royalty-free; a royalty to Safari of $0.10 (ten cents) per copy
is required for each copy of the program distributed above those
amounts. We will, at our discretion, reduce or waive this
royalty for vendors who provide us with sales information or who
feature SPACE CHASE prominently in their advertising. We plan to
provide advance releases of our new shareware products to
distributors who pay us a per-disk royalty. Please contact us in
writing to get details and our current terms.
[3] Disk and Catalog Vendors - If you wish to distribute the
Program by Catalog, or by mail, you must first NOTIFY US IN
WRITING. After sending notification, you may distribute up to 100
copies per month, up to a maximum total of 500 copies of the Program,
royalty-free; a royalty to Safari of $0.10 (ten cents) per copy
is required for each copy of the program distributed above those
amounts. We will, at our discretion, reduce or waive this
royalty for vendors who provide us with sales information or who
feature SPACE CHASE prominently in their advertising. We plan to
provide advance releases of our new shareware products to vendors
who pay us a per-disk royalty. Please contact us in writing to
get details and our current terms.
[4] Foreign Vendors; notify our distributor in your country
regarding distribution and royalties. If there is no distributor
in your country, notify us directly.
D. HONOR THESE CONDITIONS: All who distribute this Program
(other than non-commercial distributors) must:
(a) Explain that this Program is SHAREWARE using "try before you
buy" or similar words in a manner clear and visible enough
to reasonably convey the Shareware concept to potential
customers;
(b) Try to sell only the most current version of the Program;
(c) Make distribution copies only using quality disks and
duplication technology;
(d) Include all of its related files, each in compressed or
other format as released by us;
(e) Charge no more than $9.95 for the Program, or equivalent
proportional price if it is packaged or sold together with
other programs; and
(f) Include our trademarks "JASON STORM" and "SAFARI SOFTWARE
PRODUCTIONS".
E. YOUR RIGHT TO DISTRIBUTE IS PERSONAL, and without independent
authority does not [A] extend to any other trade name, subsidiary
or affiliate; or [B] include any right to sub-license.
F. TERM: We may terminate your right to distribute the Program
by notice to you by 1st class mail or faster method. The notice
will be effective upon the earlier of 30 days after we send the
notice to you, or your distribution of the copies you then own or
control.
G. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY, LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
YOU ACCEPT THE PROGRAM "AS-IS" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED (INCLUDING THE WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY) AS TO IT OR
ANY MEDIUM IT MAY BE ON. WE WILL PROVIDE NO REMEDY FOR INDIRECT,
CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM IT,
INCLUDING SUCH FROM NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR BREACH OF
WARRANTY OR CONTRACT, EVEN AFTER NOTICE OF THE POSSIBILITY OF
SUCH DAMAGES.
H. While we encourage your distribution as provided here, we are
not responsible for it. By distributing the Program, you agree
to hold us, our partners, contractors, employees and agents
harmless from damage, loss and expense arising directly or
indirectly from your acts and omissions in copying and
distributing it.

This is so awesome! 😀 I’d be cool if you could download an entire archive of this at once, though.
