available for registered users of this program. Registered

Description of Files


The program consists of the following files:


a.bat Batch file to commence operation.

savings.exe Executable program file.

readme.fil File containing this material.



The program's source code is in BASIC and was compiled with
BASIC 7.0, (c) Copyright Microsoft Corporation 1982 - 1989.

The program will run under MS-DOS and PC-DOS, Versions 2.0
or later.

INVESTMENT WITHDRAWAL


This program shows the effect of inflation and taxes on
systematic withdrawals from an investment fund. You select
the percent of income earned to be withdrawn and the program
will determine the amount which must be withdrawn monthly to
maintain purchasing power or the purchasing power of
withdrawals if the withdrawal amount remains fixed.

1. Registered users will receive double density
disks containing the following files:


savereg.exe Executable program file. The registered
version has the following additional
program features:

Color (VGA, EGA, CGA)

Printout of Data



savereg .bas BASIC source code in ASCII files for
calcreg .bas both the shareware and registered
calc2reg.bas versions of the program. The
savings .bas code can be compiled with the
calc .bas Microsoft Corporation's QuickBASIC 4.x
calc2 .bas and BASIC 7.x PDS.


manual.doc Printer ready, ASCII text file containing
documentation for the program. Document-
ation consists of an explanation of the
program's workings, a description of data
input (including limits) and output, a
data input sheet, and sample applications
to illustrate how the program works.


2. Registered users will receive notification of all
revisions to the program (to download executable program
files), for three years. Registered users may order new
registered user's disks for $3.00.


3. Registered users are licensed to modify the source code
for their own use.
