For Excel 4.0 and 5.0

Instructions:

1.Places where you can enter numbers are shown in the color blue.

2.To add several numbers within a cell, you can enter a formula,
beginning with the = sign.
For example, enter the following in a cell: =123.45+234.56
The sum 358.01 will be shown in the cell, while the formula is
shown at the top of the screen.

3.Calculation of tax due is based on a formula, and will differ by a
small amount from the amount shown in the tax tables. USE THE AMOUNT
FROM THE TAX TABLES ON THE FORMS YOU SUBMIT.

4.Do NOT submit these forms to the Comptroller of the Treasury! Copy
the figures onto the official forms.

5.Your taxes are YOUR responsibility. YOU, the taxpayer, must make sure
that all figures are correct and that all arithmetic is performed
correctly. The author takes no responsibility for the correctness of
your tax return.
