What is SKEM?
==============
SKEM is an easy to use (user friendly) schematic
drawing program designed to provide you the user
with the ability to produce high quality printed
schematic drawings.

System Requirements
===================
- IBM or compatible computer with 640K minimum.

- VGA video system (640x480 at 16 colors)

- Hard drive

- Microsoft compatible mouse (required).

- HP or compatible laser printers only.
(sorry, no dot matix printers at this time)

Registration
============
SKEM is distributed as SHAREWARE. It took many
hours to write this program. If you find this
program useful, a donation of $22 dollars is not
too much to ask. Please return the registration
form (REGISTER.FRM) included with this program.

If you register SKEM, you will receive a symbol
editor program which will allow you the ability
to create additional schematic symbols. You will
also receive the latest version of SKEM and any
additional SYMBOLS. You will be notified when
enhancements (Upgrades) are available.

Warranty
========
SKEM is provided "as is" without warranty of any
kind. The entire risk as to the performance and
results of the program is assumed by you. Also,
I the author do not warrant, guarantee, or make
any representations regarding the use of, or the
results of the use of the program. You rely on
the program and results solely at your own risk.
RT's Software "cannot" accept responsibility for
system damage, loss of profit, or any special,
incidental, or consequential damages resulting
from the use or inability to use this product.

Copyright
=========
SKEM is distributed solely as SHAREWARE. Under
this concept, you may use this SHAREWARE version
(unregistered) for a reasonable period of time,
which I consider to be 30 days, after which you
must either register your copy or stop using it.

Distribution
============
You are free, in fact encouraged, to distribute
the SHAREWARE (unregistered) version of SKEM as
long as the files contained in the original SKEM
archive are distributed in their original state.

Thank you for trying Skem 1.0

  1. Very nice! Thank you for this wonderful archive. I wonder why I found it only now. Long live the BBS file archives!

  2. This is so awesome! 😀 I’d be cool if you could download an entire archive of this at once, though.

  3. But one thing that puzzles me is the “mtswslnkmcjklsdlsbdmMICROSOFT” string. There is an article about it here. It is definitely worth a read: http://www.os2museum.com/wp/mtswslnk/
