RECOMMENDED READING

The enclosed files list books I have read that I wish to share with kindred
spirits. The list reflects my personal preferences and prejudices, which may
not coincide with your own. Hopefully, you will find some things of
interest.

The list has been divided into six categories, by file name:
SF.TXT Science Fiction
SCIENCE.TXT Science, math, and related topics
ELECTR.TXT Electronics
COMPUTER.TXT Computers, programming, etc.
NONFICT.TXT Nonfiction, history, psychology, etc.
FICTION.TXT General fiction.

Many of the books on the list are out of print and/or generally unavailable
at the local book store. Some of these can be found on library shelves.
Some can be ordered from rare book dealers [at a hefty premium, to be sure].
Some can only be found after years of patient search at used book stores,
flea markets, and yard sales. Some you may never find. So it goes, as Kurt
Vonnegut says.

I would be interested in your comments, opinions, observations, criticisms,
and general chatter. I regret that I can be of little or no help in locating
any of the hard-to-get books [my personal copies are NOT available to lend].
