Quizzia Help
Quizzia is an educational game to be played by
one to four people. You can choose whether to
play against a clock, how many questions to be
asked, how many seconds per question, and the
difficulty of questions.
F1 is the Help key. You'll receive help based
on your current location within the program.
Hit [Esc] or [Alt-X] to quit Quizzia at any
time.

Choose how many players will be playing from
between one and four.
In the shareware version, this will determine
how many questions may be asked since no
questions will be asked more than once and
there are only 50 questions available.

Type the names of the players or leave them
blank. If they are left blank, then the names
will default to "Player 1", "Player 2", etc.

Choose whether to be timed against a clock.
You can choose between 5 and 75 seconds to
answer each question. If you do not answer
the question in that amount of time, you will
be scored as incorrect and you will be charged
with the maximum number of seconds allowed for
use in the weighted score computation.
For a relaxed learning session, choose not to
be timed.
You can use a mouse if you have one. Click the
left button on your choice. Some choices may not
be viewable. Click the left button on the down

arrow to see them.
If you don't have a mouse, use the arrow keys to
highlight your choice and hit enter to select.

Help with Difficulty of questions
The questions are broken down into two categories:
Difficult
Not too difficult
If you feel that you do not know very much about
nutrition go with the "Not too difficult"
questions. They will still be challenging. For
experts, choose "Difficult" questions. For some
of each, choose "Mixture". There is no guarantee
that there will be an equal number of questions
from each category.
This choice does not affect the weighted score

Help with Number of questions
Choose the number of questions that each person
will be asked. This may be determined by the
number of questions available in the database,
since no question will be asked more than once
during the same game.

Help with Seconds per question
You have chosen to be timed. Now choose how
many seconds you want to have to answer each
question. Choose between 5 and 75. The faster
you can answer the questions, the better weighted
score you will receive. The weighted score is
based on the number of questions you answer
correctly and how much time it took you to answer
them.
Weighted score for each question:
Incorrect = 0
Correct = 100 - number of seconds to respond
You can use a mouse if you have one. Click the

Help with Playing game
Play is round robin. You will take turns answering
questions. If you chose to be timed, there will be
a bar in the Results window. It appears as soon as
the question is displayed. It will start ticking
down to zero. Answer the question before it
disappears.
The Results window will keep track of how many
questions you have answered correctly.
The Questions window will Display the questions
and answer choices.

The Message Center window will keep track of the
current question number and display additional
information about the question after you make a
selection.
When play is completed, the results will appear.

This window compares the results of each player.
The number of questions correctly answered and
the percentage that were answered correctly are
displayed.
If you chose to be timed, then the average number
of seconds used to answer the questions is
displayed along with a weighted score which is
based on the number of questions you answer
correctly and how much time it took you to answer

From the main menu, choose "Exit Quizzia" to
return to the DOS prompt.
From the Confirm Exit window, answer either
Y for yes to exit Quizzia and return to the DOS
prompt.

N for No to return to Quizzia.

This is so awesome! 😀 I’d be cool if you could download an entire archive of this at once, though.
