Fret will compute and display finger positions for notes and chords on a guitar. Different display modes may be selected to:

Allow beginners to quickly identify any note on the fret-board. Clicking on any position will instantly display the pitch and octave of the indicated position on the information bar.

Display all possible positions on the neck that will produce the same identical pitch as the position clicked on.

Display all possible positions on the neck that will produce the same pitch as well as all positions that will produce the same note at different octaves. Finger positions of octaves are color coded based on their distance from the original pitch.

Display all possible positions of multiple notes (chords). Pitches are color coded to easily identify which position corresponds to which pitch.

NOTE:A Shareware notice dialog box will appear each time you start this software. This is to remind you that you have not registered (i.e. paid for) the software. Simply click on 'Continue' to resume normal execution. When you register the software you will receive a registration number which will prevent the dialog box from appearing.

Single click on the red-button to access Fret's system menu
