Bicycle Tune-Up And Repair is shareware. Please feel free to
copy and distribute this program as long as all files remain
intact and unchanged. As shareware, the author does not make a
cent until you send in the registration fee of $9.95. Please do
so if you find this course to your liking. As an alternative, you
can purchase any program from our catalog at the end of the
tutorial. Then you need not pay the registration fee!

There is far more data on this disk than is typical for
graphics based tutorials. That's because we are using a
fascinating NEW "scripting language" for these screen pictures.
You might enjoy looking at some of the data files with any word
processor to see what they look like.

The graphics mode was carefully chosen to be useable on the
widest range of IBM compatibles from laptop systems to Tandys to
VGA equipped 486s.

If you have special education, information or experience,
perhaps other people should know about it. Have you ever
considered having your knowledge put on a disk? That way you
could distribute it for in-house training, sell it, or publish it
as shareware for the whole world to see.

We would be glad to help. We can ghost-write your text or
graphics based tutorial. Prices start from $1200.

Think about a shareware release. There is potential to make
millions of dollars. Here's why: There are 72 million people now
using IBM compatible computers just in America. If you write a
good program and only 5 percent of these people see it, then if
only 5 percent of THOSE people send $10 or more to you, you'll
make well over $1 million! (Ask me how I'm doing a couple of
years from now!)

You don't have to deliver a fancy program. So far, the
"program" that has made the most money for me has been a simple
text-only tutorial.

Perhaps you wish there was an ideal software package
that you could use to create and display your own tutorials.

This multi-media authoring package would be an
integration of a drawing program, sound/music generator and a
word processor, specially designed to make tutorial disks. In
other words, it would be the ultimate dream program for authors,
teachers artists and creators, both amateur and professional. It
would allow non-programmers (and programmers too) to teach
anything they know to the public. It could be used for company
employee training or to create tutorials to be sold as
conventional software or shareware. And, ideally, the
complete package wouldn't cost more than about $200.

In fact, this revolutionary program package already
exists! It is still in an early stage of development, but we are
presently realeasing a limited number of advance copies to
the public. This early version still has a few bugs, but does
work well. Here's the deal: You can have an advance copy for
half price - $100!

Here's exactly what you'll get:

DRAWING PROGRAM THAT MAKES PICTURES WHICH CAN BE USED ON THE
WIDEST VARIETY OF IBM-COMPATIBLE COMPUTERS.

INTEGRATED WORD-PROCESSING PROGRAM.

INTEGRATED SOUND/MUSIC GENERATION FOR YOUR PICTURES.

SMALL DISPLAY PROGRAM FOR DISPLAYING TRUE GRAPHICS (AND
PLAYING SOUNDS AND MUSIC) FROM WITHIN BATCH FILES.

BIGGER DISPLAY-PRESENTATION PROGRAM THAT COORDINATES YOUR
PICTURES, WORDS AND SOUNDS WITH UNIQUE FEATURES NOT FOUND
ELSEWHERE:

* SEARCH FOR SPECIFIC TEXT WITHIN PICTURES!

* PICTURE FILES MUCH SMALLER THAN MOST OTHER GRAPHICS
SYSTEMS CAN CREATE - YOU CAN PUT AS MANY AS 150
SEPARATE PICTURES ON ONE 360K DISK!

* SUPER EASY-TO-USE MENU SYSTEM INCORPORATED INTO YOUR
PRESENTATIONS WHICH INCLUDES COLOR CHOICE, GOTO
MENUS, SEARCH FOR TEXT, RESUME FEATURE AND ON-LINE
HELP.

* FAST-LOADING PICTURES (PARTICULARLY IMPORTANT FOR
OLDER COMPUTERS).

* PICTURE FILES ARE STORED ON DISK IN ASCII MODE -
WHICH CAN BE EASILY EDITED WITH ANY WORD PROCESSOR.

ALSO INCLUDED: Easy to read printed instructions,
telephone technical support, upgrades supplied at reduced
prices.

With this package, you can create tutorials even better than
this bicycle tune-up tutorial! Even if you are not an artist
(and I'm certainly not), computer graphics make drawing easy.

This authoring package requires 380k RAM, mouse, CGA, EGA or
VGA monochrome or color graphics, and one floppy drive. Hard
disk is recommended but not essential.

If you would like one of these advance copies, give us a
call or drop a check ($100) in the mail. (from outside USA, send
US funds drawn on a US bank)

Thanks,

Jeff Napier,

  1. Very nice! Thank you for this wonderful archive. I wonder why I found it only now. Long live the BBS file archives!

  2. This is so awesome! 😀 I’d be cool if you could download an entire archive of this at once, though.

  3. But one thing that puzzles me is the “mtswslnkmcjklsdlsbdmMICROSOFT” string. There is an article about it here. It is definitely worth a read: http://www.os2museum.com/wp/mtswslnk/
