Off Broadway Standard Tablet Menu
The Off Broadway Standard Tablet Menu is a User Supported Custom Menu for
AutoCAD. We are asking for a donation of $50 for it's use. Those that donate
will receive published announcements for future updates and other programs
soon to be announced.
The Off Broadway Standard Tablet Menu may be shared with other people
under two condition, that there is NO CHARGE for the copy(s), and that it
be distributed in an unmodified form with this documentation file.

Tablet Installation:
1. Copy pdmenu.mnu and pdmenu.dwg files onto your AutoCAD directory.
2. If you have downloaded the files from AutoCAD RBBS (415) 548-5264 you
will need to plot a copy of the tablet menu.
HINTS on plotting the tablet menu:
1. Pen #1 in your plotter pen carrage should be black .07 and pen #2 a
black .03.
2. Set the pen speed for pen #1 to 10 and #2 to 16. You will find that
with a slower pen speed you get a more solid line.
3. Set your plotter for B size and for MAX, FIT, Rotate 90 Deg. One
can plot the menu in A size and it will work but B size is prefered for
a 11" by 11" digitizing tablet.
3. Place the tablet menu onto your digitzer. Find the correct placement by
confirming that the acive area of your digitzer includes all of the
table menu commands and drawing area.
4. After confirming placment of the tablet menu use tape to to secure the
tablet menu to the digitzing tablet.
5. Start AutoCAD.

You have now configured the tablet menu.
Using the tablet menu:
All of the commands on the tablet menu are standard AutoCAD commands with
the following exceptions.
SetUp: This command will name and assign color, linetype the following
layers Draw, Dim, Text, Hidden, Cl, Dot.
Draw, Dim, Text, Hidden, Cl, Dot: Will set these layers.
Cntr, End, Insert, Inter, Mid, Near, Node, Perp, Quad, Tangent: These
are the standard Object Snap options. When you want to use Object Snap say
in drawing a line just pick the option you want.
View Set and View Recall: Position the view you want saved on the screen
then pick the number you want to name the view with then pick View Set. To
recall a view pick the view number first then pick View Recall.
Block Set and Block Recall: Use the same format as in Views (above).
Custom Macros: After you have created your custom macros where
indicated in the PDMENU file, they may be activated by a simple pick from
the tablet menu.
