CADD Excellence now offers:
*************
* SCREWIT *
*************
Your download contains the following files:
1. All the Socket Head Cap Screw drawings. (S0.DWG thru S400.DWG)
2. SCREWIT.DWG which shows the whole library's contents and how
to insert screws and holes.
3. The CADD Excellence Menu (CE-MENU.DWG) - please examine.
The files you have are free-free-free. Please distribute to others.
********************************************************************
The complete SCREWIT library contains the following:
End view of both screw assembly and nut assembly.
Edge view of standard lockwasher, flat washer, jam and full nut.
The above views are included within each screw drawing for insertion.
Of course there are clearance and tapped holes for each screw.
ASA standard head types included:
Flat head (100 degree)Flat head (100 degree)Philips
Flat head ( 82 degree)Flat head ( 82 degree)Philips
Hex head (washer)Hex head (washer) Slotted
Truss headHex head
Hex head (Slotted)Round head
Pan headPan head (Philips)
Fillester headOval head
Oval head (Philips)Binder head
Flat head cap screw (82 degree) Button head
Shoulder screwSocket head cap screw
Look at SCREWIT.DWG by calling it up in ACAD and you will find
the complete listing and usage of the SCREWIT library of screws.
You will see checkmarks which denote standard screw sizes of
each head type. Zoom "EXAMPLES" and see how the screw inserts.
You will notice the following:
1. All insertions (head type + size) give you an exploded
block with sub-blocks ready to be used, moved, rotated, etc.
2. If you don't want a particular sub-block, just erase it.
3. These sub-blocks may be exploded and stretched or
otherwise altered.
4. All screws have centerlines in a layer labelled "CL"
which may be frozen if it interferes with your particular usage.
5. Unlike other libraries, SCREWIT gives you all the views
at once without searching for other inserts. SCREWIT is error free
and once you have inserted e.g. "SH125", you KNOW that the shoulder
screw and its sub-blocks are correct.
Get all of SCREWIT. It's easy. Just send a check and I will send
you all of the screw head types and holes with their respective sub-
blocks and you will be registered for updates and new libraries as
well as technical help.
Make your $100 check payable to:
